Disclosed are a mobile terminal-based method for side-by-side input of information and a mobile terminal. The method comprises the steps of: an area of information that needs to be inputted side-by-side is defined as an area that needs to be kept-on-top, the mobile terminal receives an operating instruction of a user to select the area that needs to be kept-on-top, and saves the selected area that needs to be kept-on-top; the area that needs to be kept-on-top is kept-on-top in a current display interface, and data of an area covered by the kept-on-top area is saved; and, the mobile terminal receives an operating instruction of the user to drag the kept-on-top area, and resumes to display the data of the area that was covered. Employment of the present invention allows the mobile terminal to be provided with an additional new function in that: the user is allowed to input the information while viewing the information in a same interface. Obviated is the need for recording the related content or for frequent switching between two windows, and convenient side-by-side information input is implemented, thus the user is provided with convenience. |
