FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: rail joint design comprises a standard butt pad, two connected standard rails. The standard butt pad is welded to the side surface of the standard rail only after it occupies its working position after assembly of the joint and tightening of joint bolts. Connection of the rail with the pad at the other side is made as detachable.EFFECT: reduction of movable connections makes it possible to extend service life of a permanent way, increases safety of train traffic. |
