PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system for minimizing an electric power consumption to continue the operation, when in the situation of an electric power shortage, and for discontinuing the running operation safety when a plan proposal is scheduled.SOLUTION: An elevator control device 11 comprises: a communication portion 11a for acquiring information on the current rate of electric power consumption from a monitoring center 31 via a telecommunication network 30; and a stepwise power saving control portion 11b for stepwise suppressing the electric power to be consumed for running a cage, on the basis of the current power consumption rate obtained by the communication portion 11a. Moreover, the elevator control device 11 further comprises a stepwise operation stop control unit 11c for stopping the run of a cage 15 stepwise before the starting time of a scheduled interruption of electric service when the control unit 11c receives the information of scheduled interruption of electric service via the communication portion 11a. |
