<p>The present invention relates to methods of decreasing the infectivity, morbidity and rate of mortality, in treating diseases associated with a variety of pathogenic organisms, specifically diseases involving one or more pathogens that require neuraminidase as a virulence factor. In addition, the present invention uses biology based therapy to treat neuraminidase dependent infections or diseases dependent on sialic acid metabolism.</p> |
