PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface that can be operated in more detail with a hand holding a portable terminal device.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 1 operated by an operator includes: an imaging part 15 and an image signal processing part 16 that acquire image data 160 obtained by imaging a periphery of the operator; a detection part 101 that detects the movement of the portable terminal device 1 on the basis of detection object data 121 obtained by eliminating face part data 122 representing the face of the operator from the acquired image data 160; and an operation analysis part 102 that specifies the operation by the operator according to the detected movement of the portable terminal device 1.
