PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement material which dispenses with an extender, an auxiliary material for solidification and the like, which enables construction to be simply performed in a short period of time even without use of heavy equipment and the like, which facilitates repair after the construction and which does not affect an environment, and a paving method using the same.SOLUTION: Characteristically, a pavement material is a mixture in which soil and magnesium oxide with an average particle diameter of 1.0-10.0 μm and an average periclase crystallite diameter of 330-430 Å are premixed together. Characteristically, a paving method includes a pavement material placing and spreading step of placing and spreading the pavement material on a ground surface, and a solidification step of solidifying the pavement material by spraying water on the ground surface on which the pavement material is placed and spread. |
