PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain satisfactory communication with an external device.SOLUTION: Between with an external device using one cable, there are performed video and voice data transmission, exchange of connection device information, communication of device control data and LAN communication. The LAN communication is performed via a pair of differential transmission lines with bidirectional communication. Further, the connection state of the external device is detected by the DC bias potential of at least either one of the pair of the differential transmission lines. |
