PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container of absorbing interest including enjoyment of optical patterns.SOLUTION: A tubular leg body 7 which protrudes downward and opens in a lower end 6 thereof is integrally provided in the lower part of a container body 3 for storing beverage liquid. The tubular leg body 7 is so designed that it can put the container on a placing surface 10 on a lower end edge 9 of the tubular leg body. In a peripheral surface 11 of the tubular leg body 7, holes 12 are dispersively provided, and the light made incident in the tubular leg body 7 from the open lower end 6 is emitted through the holes 12. The beverage container 1 has a handle 15 whose upper end is connected to the outer side face of the container body 3 while the lower end is connected to the outer side face of the tubular leg body 7.
