PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which suppresses degradation of the efficiency of heat exchange.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 10 for performing heat-exchanging between water and COcoolant comprises: a first assembly 60; and a flat multi-hole pipe 40. The first assembly 60 is constituted by stacking a number of flat pipes 20 including first, second and third flat pipes 20a, 20b, 20c. The flat pipes 20 have edge parts 23 and center parts 22 and are formed by overlapping peripheries 84 of a pair of metal plates 80. A number of the flat pipes 20 are stacked such that the edge parts 23 are overlapped with the edge parts 23 of the adjacent flat pipes 20. Water is caused to return and flow through a number of the flat pipes 20 at the edge parts 23. Edge parts 23a of the adjacent first flat pipes 20a and edge parts 23b of the second flat pipes 20b are communicated with each other via holes formed on respective edge parts. Edge parts 23b of adjacent second flat pipes 20b and edge parts 23c of third flat pipes 20c are not communicated with each other and gaps G are formed between the edge parts 23b of the second flat pipes 20b and the edge parts 23c of the third flat pipes 20c. |
