PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve pattern matching which can flexibly correspond to a change in a state for capturing an object without complicating processing in pattern matching of the object based on a captured image.SOLUTION: An image processing device (tablet terminal device) detects an indication (mark M) in a captured image by comparing a template T with a central part of the captured image by using a partial image corresponding to the central part of the mark as the template T for pattern matching, and commands execution of predetermined processing on the basis of the mark M in the case that an object (first casing) with the mark M of such a pattern arranged is captured by a document camera, the pattern suppressing the influence of geometrical image distortion occurring in accordance with an angle between the object and the document camera.
