PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dewater mud by a simple device.SOLUTION: A mud dewatering device 10 includes: a container 11 which is filled with a filter medium 41 and whose periphery is covered with a screen 15; air supply pipes 21, 31 and a suction pipe 31 which are inserted into the container 11; a pressure air supply device which is connected to the air supply pipes 21, 31; and a vacuum suction device which is connected to the suction pipe 31. Pressure air is continuously supplied into mud and then water is vacuum-sucked from the mud by using the mud dewatering device 10, thereby dewatering the mud. More specifically, a large-diameter pipe 31 serving as both an air supply pipe and a suction pipe is arranged in the center of the container 11, and a plurality of air supply pipes 21 are arranged in the periphery of the container 11. An outer pipe screen 33 is provided on the periphery of the large-diameter pipe 31. A filter device is used which is formed by filling the inside of the container 11 and around the outer pipe screen 33 with a sand filter 41. |
