PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate, a surface light source device and a transmission type image display device capable of suppressing crosstalk.SOLUTION: A light guide plate 40 emits incident light from a light incident surface 40a from a light emission surface 40b. The light guide plate 40 has a plurality of lens parts 43 that extend in a direction from the light incident surface to the side of a surface 41d on the opposite side, on the light emission surface. The plurality of lens parts are disposed in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction. On a cross section orthogonal to the extending direction of the lens parts, when a length along a contour line from a vertex on the cross section of the lens part to a point P on the contour line is defined as L, an axis passing through both ends of the lens parts is defined as an u axis, an axis orthogonal to the u axis is defined as a v axis, and inclination of the lens parts at the point P on the contour line is defined as α, in the range of -0.20<L<0.20, the following expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied. |
