PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sensitivity deterioration of an antenna sufficiently to the minimum without sacrificing a function display while adapting a metal case in an electronic timepiece for displaying information by receiving an electric wave.SOLUTION: An electronic timepieces 100 includes: a dial plate 2 on which a time is displayed in a surface 2a; a planar antenna 11; and a metal case 3. The planar antenna 11 is installed on the rear face 2b side of the dial plate 2 so as to overlap with the dial plate 2 in a direction orthogonal to the dial plate 2, extends in the extending direction of the dial plate 2, and receives an electric wave transmitting the dial plate 2. The case 3 has a wall 31 which surrounds the dial plate 2 and the planar antenna 11 in the extending direction of the dial plate 2. The planar antenna 11 and the case 3 are disposed opposite each other so that a side distance b is between one time and two times an antenna depth a in the extending direction of the dial 2. |
