PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle drive device capable of controlling drive force fluctuations due to reaction when starting up an engine and reducing increase of an output torque of a rotary machine.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle comprises an engine, a first rotary machine, a differential part connected with the engine and the first rotary machine, a transmission part for connecting the differential part and a drive wheel, and a second rotary machine connected to an output element of the transmission part, wherein when starting up the engine (S20), the transmission part is put in high gear or overdrive (S50), and the transmission part is put in high gear when starting up the engine in the range of a transmission gear ratio capable of outputting a required drive force after the start-up of the engine. |
