PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of torque while preventing burning of a switching element.SOLUTION: Between power supply lines 8P, 8N to which a DC voltage is applied, three sets of IGBTs are connected in parallel with each other, among IGBTs 10u, 10d, 12u, 12d, 14u, 14d, two IGBTs connected in series being combined as one set. An interconnection point of IGBTs in each set is connected to a three-phase motor 6, and an inverter in which the DC voltage is converted into an AC voltage and applied to the three-phase motor 6, controls the three-phase motor 6 under six modes through spatial vector modulation. When it is determined that the IGBTs are fixed to one of the six modes, the IGBTs are switched to be distributed to at least two modes. |
