PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that does not cause waste in a roll sheet even if printing is stopped while the roll sheet is being printed.SOLUTION: The printer includes: a conveyance section 58 that conveys a printed medium 200; a fixation section 60 that fixes a toner image; a sensor 88 that is arranged on an upstream side higher than the fixation section and detects a mark printed in the printed medium; and a control section that when receiving an instruction of a print stop during printing, after the mark is printed in the printed medium, causes a conveyance of the printed medium from the upstream side to a downstream side by the conveyance section to be stopped, causes the conveyance section to convey the printed medium from the downstream side to the upstream side, and when a position of the mark printed in the printed medium passes through a position corresponding to the sensor, causes the conveyance of the printed medium to be stopped, and when receiving an instruction of print resumption, causes the conveyance section to convey the printed medium from a return position having the printed medium caused to be stopped to the downstream side and controls print timing on the basis of detection of the mark by the sensor. |
