PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically heat molten glass with efficiency using a different system from usual when manufacturing a glass plate.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a glass plate uses a glass conduit for conveying molten glass while heating the molten glass. The glass conduit has a conduit body made of metal, a pair of flanges provided at different positions in a longitudinal direction of the conduit body, and an electrode connected to the flanges respectively so as to supply a current to the conduit body for heating. A current path extending from the electrode to the flanges has branch paths for supplying electricity to two different places on peripheries of the flanges before supplying the electricity to the flanges respectively. |
