PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a device in a shorter time.SOLUTION: A device identification apparatus includes: feature vector generating means which converts qualitative feature quantity and quantitative feature quantity included in feature quantity of a device to a feature vector formed of predetermined two numerical values, on the basis of a predetermined vectorization rule according to the characteristics of the device feature quantity; grouping means for classifying the devices into a plurality of groups on the basis of the converted feature vector; a cluster analysis bundle 118 for deciding a representative vector for each of the groups; a device cluster extraction bundle 119 which compares the feature vector of a device to be identified with the representative vector for each group, to extract a group most similar to the device to be identified; and a device identification bundle 115 which identifies a device having the most similar comparison feature item, as the device to be identified. |
