PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox responsive host in which electric charges and molecular structures change in response to oxidation and reduction having capturability and stability of metal ions.SOLUTION: The redox responsive host can control the inclusion ability of metal ions by oxidation and reduction. It has a skeleton in which the structures and electric charges change in response to redox reactions having at least two action sites connected to benzo crown ether rings. The action sites of the redox responsive host open and close according to redox reactions, containing metal ions with the benzo crown ether rings. |
