A wrapping electrode body according to one embodiment of the present invention relates to an electrode body used in a secondary battery which is produced in an electrode laminating manner, and comprises: an electrode plate having a coating layer of an electrode active material capable of reversibly absorbing and releasing lithium ions, and having a non-coating portion; first and second separation membranes covering both sides of the electrode plate while exposing only the non-coating portion; and an insulating polymer film disposed between the first and second separation membranes in at least one part around the electrode plate and bonded to the first and second separation membranes. Since the insulating polymer film is divided into at least two portions, it is possible to eliminate a process of stamping or punching the insulating polymer film in order to form a space for receiving the electrode plate and also to prevent insulating polymer film from being wasted during stamping or punching.
