This power management method is a method for managing power supply from an electricity storage system to a plurality of consumers within a group, and power supply from the grid, having: a step of calculating the power used by the plurality of consumers (termed "load power") and peak cut power for the group; a step of determining, on the basis of at least the load power and the peak cut power, a level for discharge from the electricity storage system, for each time slot; and a step of determining beforehand an index representing the extent to which grid power was used in the group in question (termed a "grid power usage index"). In the step of determining the level for discharge from the electricity storage system, the level for discharge is determined on the basis of the grid power usage index, in addition to the load power and the peak cut power. |
