An article holder is disclosed. The article holder includes a mounting clip with a top and bottom member pivotally attached to one another and spring loaded so as to clip mount to a base element. In certain embodiments, the mounting clip includes a groove in a top surface adapted to receive an article such as an electronic tablet device. Thus, the article holder can clip to a base element such as an airplane tray table and hold the article in a viewing position. A second groove oriented in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first groove may be provided for an alternate mode of use. In further embodiments, the groove may be formed by a groove wall in the top member and a lip on a cradle element which projects into the clip. |
