<p>The method involves guiding a vehicle along a trajectory from a current position to a target position by a transverse control. A future swept area and/or an area covered by the target position of the vehicle are detected by a stereo video camera system (2). The trajectory is calculated such that the future swept area and/or the area covered by the target position of the vehicle are maximally detected by the stereo video camera system, during a movement of the vehicle along the trajectory. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer program for supporting a driving maneuver of a vehicle; and (2) a driving assistance system.</p> |
