METHOD AND DEVICE OF AUTOMATIC TENSION OF TRANSMISSION BY FLEXIBLE CONNECTION

FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: tension method of transmission by a flexible connection consists in tracking of movement of a spring-loaded tension roller (5) by means of a free wheel mechanism connected to it. A device for implementation of the method uses a free wheel mechanism, in which ratchet rack (15) is connected with one of its ends to lever (6) of tension roller (5). The other end of the ratchet rack freely moves in guide (16) hinged to the housing. Spring-loaded clutch (18) follows up the rack movement as the transmission is being extended. Allowable vibrations of the tension roller are set by a pitch of teeth of the ratchet rack.EFFECT: invention allows setting a tension algorithm by choosing the type of a free wheel mechanism and excluding necessary maintenance of transmission during its operation.8 cl, 8 dwg
