PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fibrous metal adsorbent that can be produced using an existing production facility without using a special facility and complex operation, in which durability is high, diversification is easy, and that can be processed to various configurations in a fibrous adsorbent that is used for adsorption and recovery of a metal in a solution.SOLUTION: a) An acrylic acid ester based polymer having a number of glycidyl groups in molecule is prepared, b) kneaded with a low melting point fiber base material polymer, c) made fibrous by a melting mixing spinning method, and d) glycidyl groups of a fiber surface are reacted with a long chain type ligand having an amino group or an imino group to introduce a metal adsorption property functional group, thereby a fibrous metal adsorbent in which durability is high, diversification is easy, and that has various configurations is produced. |
