PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a sealing device and the sealing device capable of suppressing the degradation of sealing performance and the decrease of a life even when rubber contraction occurs in a low-temperature environment.SOLUTION: An oil seal 1 includes an annular main body part which is internally fitted to an inner circumferential surface of a housing and a seal member having an annular seal lip which comes into sliding contact with an outer circumferential surface of a rotation shaft. The seal member is mounted to the housing in such a state that a string shape seal rubber is formed in a ring shape by causing both edge surfaces of the seal rubber to abut against each other. The main body part is held and fixed in the axial direction between a difference surface 2b which is formed in the housing and intersects the axial direction and a fixation surface of a fixed member arranged opposite to the difference surface 2b while being internally fitted to the inner circumferential surface. A groove part 20 for regulating the relative rotation of the main body part between the housing and the main body part is formed on the difference surface 2b and the fixation surface.
