PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a glass film from breaking through proper cooling when the glass film is wound over a protective sheet.SOLUTION: A glass film transport device 100 which continuously transports a long-sized glass film includes: a pay-off part 2 which pays off the glass film from a roll; a glass film transport part 3 which transports the glass film paid off from the pay-off part 2; a take-up part 4 which takes up the glass film transported by the glass film transport part 3 in a rolled shape while laminating the glass film on a protective sheet; and a laminating roller 12 provided in front of the take-up part 4. The laminating roller 12 has a surface temperature higher than the temperature of the protective sheet, and the temperature of the protective sheet is thereby raised to accelerate evaporation of vaporized components that the protective sheet contains. The evaporated vaporized components stay between the laminating roller 12 and protective sheet and between the protective sheet and glass film to function as a heat transfer medium, thereby suitably lowering the temperature of the glass film. |
