PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber bundle to which a sizing agent capable of exhibiting good interfacial adhesion property both to the carbon fiber bundle and a thermoplastic resin attaches even when a polyolefin-based resin is used as the thermoplastic resin, and easy in manufacturing, to provide its manufacturing method, a carbon fiber chop, a carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin and a molded article.SOLUTION: A carbon fiber bundle to which a resin composition I attaches, its manufacturing method, a carbon fiber chop using the same, a carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin and a molded article are provided. The resin composition I contains an acid-modified polyolefin A and a cationic (meth)acrylic copolymer B with a mass ratio A:B of 100:1 to 100:100, the polyolefin A contains a polyolefin structure a1 and an acidic group a2 with the mass ratio a1:a2 of 100:0.1 to 100:5 in the molecule structure, the copolymer B has a structure in which a cationic functional group is neutralized by acid, and the content of the resin composition I in the carbon fiber bundle is 0.1 to 8.0 mass%. |
