PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for an electromechanical appliance and the like, capable of preventing a power from being supplied when a power supply switch of an electric tool is turned on even in the case that the power supply connection between the device and the electric tool is disconnected once on a load side from the device and then the connection is recovered again, as well as in the case of power recovery after interruption on a power supply side from the device.SOLUTION: A device connected with a power line of a load 5 such as an electromechanical appliance to supply a power, comprises: a contact point 301 opening and closing a main circuit; tripping means for the contact point; current detection means 303 for the main circuit; detection means 304 of power recovery from interruption; detection means 305 of power supply connection between the device and the load; and determination means 306 of tripping of the contact point. The determination means performs no tripping energization of the contact point in the case that the current detection means transits from a state not detecting a current to a state detecting a current by using the detection of the power recovery detection means as an initial point, and performs tripping energization of the contact point by the tripping means in the case that a current is detected at the power recovery detection. |
