<p>The invention relates to an upper for footwear, which is of the type that includes one or more parts made from an elastic material and which is secured to the corresponding upper of the footwear item, the upper being made from a material that is preferably non-elastic and flexible, such as to render the upper, and consequently the corresponding shoe, elastic. The parts made from an elastic material are secured by means of stitching or using any other traditional means to parts made from a non-elastic flexible material having similar characteristics to the outer upper part, characterised in that the parts made from an elastic material and the inner parts made from leather or a non-elastic flexible material remain secured together to an inner part to serve as a liner that prevents wear from friction.</p> |
