FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to separation plate to be incorporated with the stack of plates of rotary centrifuge. Separation plate features narrowing shape and extends rotational axis and along narrowing rotational-symmetrical surface in rotational axis. It has inner and outer surfaces and is made of formable material. It is arranged to make a clearance between separation plate and adjacent separation plate in the stack of plates and comprises first ledges extending outward from narrowing rotational-symmetric surface and second ledges extending inward from said surface. Every said first and second ledges make a contact zone to abut on adjacent plate in the stack of plates. Said contact zones of first ledges are shifted relative to those of second ledges is seen in direction of normal to outer surface. First and second ledges are arranged one after another in peripheral direction of centrifugal separator. Narrowing shape and ledges are formed by pressing the billet of said material against tooling component shaped appropriately. Stack of plates comprises multiple separation plates with multiple first separation plates and multiple second separation plates.EFFECT: uniform and dense contact between separation plates.
