PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator which can generate power stably without heating one end side of a thermoelectric conversion module, and cooling the other side, so as to generate a temperature difference between both sides holding the thermoelectric conversion module therebetween in an environment where the thermoelectric generator is disposed.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric generator includes a heat-conducting body 1 which can exchange heat with the environment depending on the environmental temperature change, a heat reservoir 2, one thermoelectric conversion unit 3 and one heat resistor 6 arranged between the heat-conducting body and heat reservoir. One ends 3a, 6a of the heat resistor and thermoelectric conversion unit come into contact with each other, the other end 6a of the heat resistor comes into contact with the heat-conducting body, the other end 6b of the thermoelectric conversion unit comes into contact with the heat reservoir 2, and the surface of the heat reservoir 2 is covered with a coating layer 4 having certain thermal insulation. Electrical energy is taken out from the thermoelectric conversion unit, by utilizing a temperature difference occurring between the heat-conducting body and heat reservoir. |
