PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve noise resistant performance while maintaining drainage performance.SOLUTION: There is provided a pneumatic tire 1 for a heavy load which comprises: a crown main groove 3A in a tread part 2; and a middle lateral groove 5B which has an inner end at a position spaced apart from the crown main groove 3A to the outside in the tire axis direction and extends at an angle of 45 to 75 degrees to the tire circumferential direction. A middle communication sipe 24 for communicating the crown main groove 3A and the middle lateral groove 5B is provided in the tread part 2, and a middle sipe 25 extending along a groove center line of the middle lateral groove 5 is provided on a groove bottom of the middle lateral groove 5B to communicate the middle sipe 25 and the middle communication sipe 24. |
