PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique to make a defective pixel included in a display device inconspicuous.SOLUTION: A display device includes a display unit that has a plurality of pixels, and a correction image data acquisition unit that acquires correction image data obtained by correcting an original image data when a defective pixel having a defect related to display is included in the plurality of pixels. The correction image data includes a plurality of first correction pixel values corresponding to a plurality of first pixels located in the vicinity of the defective pixel, and a plurality of second correction pixel values corresponding to a plurality of second pixels located in the vicinity of the defective pixel. The first correction pixel values are larger than corresponding original pixel values, and the second correction pixel values are smaller than corresponding pixel values in the original image data. |
