PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting electric power to an air conditioner of an elevator while suppressing a device installation cost and while being hardly influenced by the voltage fluctuations of a commercial power source.SOLUTION: A service interruption detection switching device 3, which has a battery 2 and an inverter 4 and which is built in a backup operation device to operate at a service interruption, and the inverter 4 are used to supply electric power to an air conditioning device 6 in the state of the commercial power source being supplied, while varying the voltage and frequency of the supplied electric power by the inverter 4. |
