The seat (4) has a horizontal adjustment which sets seat main portion at a location within a cab (1). A height adjustment mechanism defines the height of the seat portion. A rotating unit defines the orientation of seat main portion within driver cab, such that backrest is completely folded onto the seat portion. The backrest adjustment mechanism determines the angle between the seat portion and backrest. The rotating unit, height adjustment, backrest adjustment and horizontal adjustment are changed from a main position to stowed position with in the cab. An independent claim is included for method for removing vehicle seat.
