PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that installation of highly accurate frequency measuring means in a power demand side, especially domestic use, refrigerating cycle apparatus as built-in means cannot be easily achieved due to an increase of production costs or the like and wide spread of a refrigerating cycle apparatus capable of determining power demand balance from a frequency of power supply is conventionally difficult.SOLUTION: A refrigerating cycle apparatus includes: a control device provided with a microcomputer to control an operation of the refrigerating cycle apparatus; and a power supply frequency measuring circuit for measuring a frequency of a power supply. The control device sets an average value of power supply frequencies measured by the power supply frequency measuring circuit during a period from time before predetermined time up to present time as a reference frequency, updates the reference frequency, finds out a variation amount of the average value of the power supply frequencies from the reference frequency during a period from time before time shorter than the predetermined time up to the present time, and when the variation amount is deviated from a predetermined range, changes a rotational frequency of a compressor. |
