PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radical generating method which can be applied in the house and allows production of a radical-containing liquid applicable to washing of articles.SOLUTION: In a radical generating method, fine bubbles are generated in a liquid containing hydrogen peroxide, and radicals are generated in the liquid by breaking the fine bubbles, and the fine bubbles are formed of a gas not containing ozone. When the fine bubbles of the gas not containing ozone (ozone-free gas) are generated in the liquid containing hydrogen peroxide, a large amount of radicals can be generated by generation of hydroxyl radicals from the hydrogen peroxide and generation of hydroxyl radicals by water oxidation. |
