Provided are a method and device for acquiring neighbour cell information. The method includes: acquiring a cell global identification (CGI) of a neighbour cell of a base station; and according to the CGI of the neighbour cell and the correlation between all or part of information in the CGI and a public land mobile network (PLMN) information set, acquiring the PLMN information set corresponding to the neighbour cell. The method and device for acquiring neighbour cell information of the embodiments of the present invention can allow a base station to better realize the function of ANR.
