The mirror (10) has functional elements connected with a mirror head (11) and provided with mirror glasses. A mirror base (12) comprises fastening elements that are attached to a vehicle-side assembly, where the fastening elements are accessed by a vehicle outer side part (A). Fuse elements (13) are connected with the mirror base to form a compound (R). The fuse elements are transversely attached to a longitudinal axis. A detent hole and a running groove are formed in the fuse elements. The fuse elements are integrated in a locking bolt. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a support for assembling an outside mirror in a motor car (2) a method for assembling an outside mirror in a motor car.
