<p>A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device with the backlight unit. The backlight unit comprises a light source (1), a heat sink (2) and a front frame (3), wherein the light source (1) is arranged on the heat sink (2). The front frame (3) comprises at least one limit part (33, 34, 35, 36), and the limit part (33, 34, 35, 36) is used for fastening the light source (1) on the heat sink (2). In the backlight unit and the liquid crystal display device with the backlight unit, the light source (1) can be in tightly contact with the heat sink (2) by arranging the limit part (33, 34, 35, 36) on the front frame (3). Heat generated by the light source (1) can be rapidly transferred to the exterior by the heat sink (2), and the radiating efficiency of the heat sink (2) is improved; thus the backlight unit is helped to dissipate heat more efficiently.</p> |
