PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creep life management system for a turbine engine and a method of operating the same.SOLUTION: Sensor apparatuses (202/350/360) coupled to first components (122/124) are configured with a unique identifier. The creep life management system also includes a reader unit (212) coupled to second components (105/109/110/670/674). The reader unit is configured to transmit an interrogation request signal (218/418/518) to the sensor apparatuses and receive a measurement response signal (220/4240/520) transmitted from the sensor apparatuses. The creep life management system further includes at least one processor (216) programmed to determine a real-time creep profile (802) of the first components as a function of the measurement response signal transmitted from the sensor apparatuses. |
