<p>The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the size of a power converter while increasing its reliability. The power converter is provided with a power semiconductor module, a driver circuit substrate mounted with a driver circuit, and an alternating-current-side relay conductor for transmitting alternating current. The power semiconductor module has an alternating-current-side terminal connected to the alternating-current-side relay conductor, and a control-side terminal connected to the driver circuit substrate. An alternating-current conductor is arranged on the side opposite the power semiconductor module with the driver circuit substrate interposed therebetween. The driver circuit substrate has a transformer for converting a low voltage into a high voltage and supplying the converted voltage to the driver circuit, and a wire for connecting the transformer and the driver circuit. Formed in the driver circuit substrate is a through-hole arranged on the side opposite the transformer so as to sandwich the driver circuit therebetween. The alternating-current-side relay conductor is connected to the alternating-current-side connector via the through-hole.</p> |
