摘要 A memory reduction device of a stereoscopic image display device according to the present invention comparing Gn and Gn-1 to be adjacently displayed and modulating the Gn into Gn′to compensate 3D crosstalk, includes a memory and a compression unit. The compression unit generates first to fourth alignment data by receiving first to fourth input data which belong to the Gn and are respectively formed with a K1 bit and aligning the first to fourth input data in the order of data size; generates first to fourth compression data groups which include first and second compression data of a K2 bit which is smaller than the K1 bit and third compression data of a K3 bit which is smaller than the K2 bit based on the first to fourth alignment data; then extracts an outlier among the first to fourth input data by using a deviation between the first to fourth alignment data; and selects one compression data group from the first to fourth compression data groups as a compressed Gn-1 depending on whether the outlier exists or not and the extracted position of the outlier and stores the selected group in the memory.
