PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of reducing jitter, cloud on a mirror surface, and a thermal effect to an optical element, with a simple and inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: An optical scanner includes a rectification member 201 that holds a glass plate 203 installed on a path of reflection light flux deflectively scanned by a light deflector 202, and covers the light deflector 202 installed in an optical box 101 other than an upper part of the light deflector 202. The rectification member 201 includes a semi-cylindrical part 201a having a rotation shaft substantially the same as that of a rotating polygon mirror 202b, and has an eave part 201b partially covering an upper part of the rotating polygon mirror 202b formed integrally with an upper part of the semi-cylindrical part 201a. The rotating polygon mirror 202b is surrounded by a first cover member 104, first and second sponge members 204 and 205, and the rectification member 201 to be substantially sealed. |
