PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chart file retrieval system capable of reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A chart file retrieval system comprises: a retrieval master machine for transmitting an ID signal for retrieval; a plurality of divided storage areas for storing a chart file; a retrieval sub-machine unit which stores IDs assigned to the respective chart file storing areas, operates on receiving the supply of power from the outside, and outputs a response signal to operate display means when the ID signal is compared with the retrieval ID signal from the retrieval master machine and they match; and means which is a chart file retrieval management device including a feeder line and a signal line laid in the storage area to make a contact with the terminal of the retrieval sub-machine unit to form a conduction relationship. The means supplies power to the feeder line of the storage area according to the time interval of the retrieval ID signal from the retrieval master machine until the retrieval corresponding chart file is found while scanning, keeps the current-carrying state until the retrieval corresponding chart file is fetched, and stops the supply of power to the feeder line at a point of time when the retrieval corresponding chart file is fetched. |
