PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide current differential relays capable of mitigating reception processing of each current differential relay and a network load by transmitting/receiving current data among the current differential relays, even when the number of the current differential relays installed in a current differential relay system is large.SOLUTION: A current differential relay comprises an interface unit, a quantization unit, a communication unit, and a differential calculation unit. The quantization unit quantizes current received by the interface unit to convert the current to first current data. In the case where the relay is a representative current differential relay in a first group; the communication unit transmits the first current data with second current data from another current differential relay belonging to the first group to a representative current differential relay belonging to a second group, receives third current data from the representative current differential relay, and transmits the third current data to the other current differential relay. The differential calculation unit executes current differential calculation on the basis of the first to third current data. |
