PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the situation in which a user cannot perform printing due to limitation on the use amount.SOLUTION: When a user uses an MFP for example, a server presumes whether or not the use amount of the MFP is likely to exceed an upper limit set by the user within a predetermined period on the basis of a use history of the MFP by the user. When it is determined that the use amount is likely to exceed the upper limit within the predetermined period as a result of the presumption, the server generates print settings in which the use amount of the MFP is presumed not to exceed the upper limit within the predetermined period. The print settings generated by the server are transmitted to the MFP via a network as recommended settings, and presented to the user.
