PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shift circuit that has a compact circuit scale and implements a low speed operation.SOLUTION: A P type MOS transistor Tr011 operates according to a control signal C11, and an N type MOS transistor Tr012 operates according to a control signal C12. The control signals C11 and C12 are such control signals as will not simultaneously turn on the P type MOS transistor Tr011 and the N type MOS transistor Tr012. The control signal C12 is generated by a logic circuit 011 fed with an input signal D1_i and a control signal C13. A capacity Cp formed by a parasitic capacitance is added to an output terminal, and an output signal level is held in the capacity Cp. A current source 113 supplies a charge such that the capacity Cp maintains a potential of a power supply P01.
