PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway unit in which a storage area can be utilized efficiently.SOLUTION: A gateway processing section 1 connected with a plurality of channels Ln comprises: a reception buffer 30n in which reception frames received through a channel Ln are stored; a transmission buffer 33n in which transmission frames transmitted through a specific channel are stored; a transfer table 32 defining a rule for transferring a part or all of data included in the reception frames to a predetermined storage position of the transmission buffer 33n; and a transfer section 31 for transferring a part or all of data included in the reception frames to the transmission buffer 33n. The transfer table 32 is defined for each predetermined category so that a transmission frame is composed of the data included in a reception frame of one category. |
